MY STORY
I’m building the door I wish someone had held open for me.
I was the first in my family to go to college. Nobody handed me a map of how publishing works. I found it one door at a time.
Years later, I earned my MFA from Spalding University. Then I started Rosecliff Literary, where I represent adult fiction and select nonfiction.
Now I spend my days reading queries and manuscripts. I see the same few problems stop good books again and again. Most of them are easy to fix once someone tells you about them.
So that’s what I do here. I tell you the truth about publishing, kindly and without the jargon.
As an agent, I represent adult fiction and select nonfiction, with a soft spot for horror, gothic stories, and book club suspense.
